Celebrate The Royal Albert Hall’s 150th Birthday With This Amazing Concert Footage

The Royal Albert Hall’s turning the big 150 this year, and they’re celebrating with a new short film released today.

The 90-second film’s narrated by Mick Jagger and brings together footage from more than 40 archive events from the Royal Albert Hall’s history, dating back to the 1930s, including some clips being released for the first time.

Previously unreleased footage includes 1960s material from Jimi Hendrix’s concert — along with clips from Diana Ross’s performance in 1973, and BBC Archive material of Shirley Bassey and Albert Einstein.
